Diana joined the Dementia Services Information and Development Centre in 2018 (DSIDC). Her role is dual, part as a Social Worker for the Memory Clinic (Mercer’s Institute of Successful Ageing) providing advice and supports to patients, and part as educator and researcher with DSIDC. She qualified as Social Worker in 1993 in Spain where she worked in Primary Care attending to people requiring home supports. She has worked in Ireland since 2005 in Tallaght University Hospital, mostly with older persons, in inpatient, outpatient and day hospital settings and in Connolly Hospital as part of their Frailty Intervention Team in the Emergency Department, holding senior positions in both.
